IS claims SVBIED attack against LNA checkpoint - February 26

This week, the Special Deterrence Force (SDF) launched an attack on Warshaffana militias in Tripoli’s Al-Mayah area. The clashes were a clear attempt to secure an incoming cash shipment of 1 million LYD at a local bank, resulting in growing criticism of the SDF over its “anticrime” narrative, which remains instrumental for militias in North-West Libya as it portrays them as having a unified agenda that seeks to combat the same enemy.
